Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five (5) years of construction scheduling experience OR ten (10) years of professional construction scheduling experience in lieu of a degree
Experience supporting construction projects valued at $25 million or greater
Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 required
Experience using Claim Digger, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat Professional
Experience analyzing Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and construction delays
Familiarity with Federal construction standards, NAVFAC criteria, and military construction projects preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Position Overview Futron is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT facilities and infrastructure projects throughout Italy and Bahrain. This position is responsible for developing, reviewing, and analyzing planning, design, and construction schedules for military construction, renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. The Scheduler will collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure project schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with mission requirements. Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and analyze project schedules for planning, design, and construction projects.
Prepare scheduling recommendations for military construction (MILCON), renovation, maintenance, and facilities projects.
Develop project durations and Basis of Schedule (BoS) documentation for government solicitations and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
Review Architect-Engineer (A/E) project schedules for completeness, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule analysis and identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
Analyze the impacts of change orders, delays, and contract modifications on overall project completion.
Participate in Cost Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA) activities during project planning and design.
Support Technical Evaluation Teams (TET) by reviewing contractor schedule submissions and providing technical recommendations.
Coordinate with Project Managers and government stakeholders to establish realistic project milestones and delivery schedules.
Identify scheduling conflicts, constraints, and potential risks while recommending corrective actions.
Assist with schedule training, best practices, and development of scheduling guidance for project teams.
Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for project leadership and government personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or NAVFAC construction programs.
Experience with overseas construction or military installation projects.
Knowledge of Federal construction contracting and acquisition processes.
Familiarity with project phasing, occupied facilities, environmental permitting, and installation operational constraints.
Experience presenting schedule analyses and executive-level briefings.
