Construction Superintendent Location: Various Locations (CONUS & OCONUS) Salary: Full Time Salaried (project based)
Position Summary:
Futron Incorporated is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for government construction projects in. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and labor management is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily field operations, subcontractors, and Futron personnel
Plan construction logic, schedules, and labor requirements
Interpret plans and specifications to guide execution
Ensure timely delivery of materials and coordinate vendors
Conduct and document site inspections and materials testing
Maintain accurate daily production reports and as-built drawings
Lead all on-site safety efforts and promote a culture of safe work practices
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
Develop look-ahead schedules and coordinate with all stakeholders
Resolve construction issues, complaints, and method improvements
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subs, and suppliers
Validate timecards and track labor budgets
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience (federal construction experience preferred)
Proven ability to manage complex construction sites independently
Deep knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
Skilled in coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, and safety protocols
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Physically able to work on-site in varying conditions
Willingness to work flexible shifts as required
May also serve dual hat with other roles
